Ingvaldur Þór Sigurjónsson

I'm originally from Iceland, were I lived for almost 20 years, but since 1985 I've been living in Sweden

My parents are still living in Iceland, as well as my older sister. I also have brother in Sweden, but at a comfortable distance (300km) :-)

I grew up in Hafnarfjörður, a wonderful town, full of adventures for kids growing up. My grandparents lived just a few houses away which was very nice. I dont know if they felt the same the day I almost put their house on fire ...

All schools I attended were in Hafnarfjörður, Víðistaðaskóli in the low grades and Flensborg for highschool.

At the age of 19 my blood had turned into some viking mixture so I flew (!) to Oslo,Norway and ended up in Karlstad, Sweden to visit my brother. The plan was to head down to Gothenburg after a few days. The visit turned out to be 1½ year long. Then I moved on to Gothenburg were I attended the University of Gothenburg long enough to receive Bachelor degree in Computer Science

I moved to Stockholm in January 1990 and short thereafter I met my beloved fiance Elísabet Eir Cortes, and as nature is by God given, she gave birth to our son Askur Emanúel Sesar and almost 2 year later our girl Embla Guðrún Elísabet.

Askur Emanúel Sesar was born the 5th of February 1993 in Stockholm and Embla Guðrún Elísabet was born the 30th of December 1994 in Huddinge

The names Askur and Embla are the names of the first man and woman in the Nordic mythology. Askur means the first man and Embla means the first woman.
